We had a loud sound - a humming that started as soon as we started moving and just got louder. I took it in at 11 - I called them at 4 (because I was on lunch) I was told it was on the rack and he would call back in a few min. They did just that. They said it was the wheel barings on one side. They said that they also recommended the roaters be replaced - which didn't suprise me. It was making some nasty sounds. They said that if they did it now there would be no labor because they already had the roater off. and was either going to put the new one on or the old one on. I went ahead and had it done.They had it done that night. It sounds great - I can actually hear my two kids arguing again in the back seat.It was about 400 - which I can't say if that was a lot or not - but it hurt my wallet. Good work though, fast and friendly.

Shop was great str8 up and honest no bs-ing I had a severe problem with my clutch and assumed the whole clutch needed repair (I know a good amount about cars and do many repairs and maintenance myself) they told me it was just the master cylinder and not the whole clutch roughly a $400 difference to my favor and they leave the repair options up to you without influence also have a good price on oil changes $20

I would like to thank Apex for their help today. My son's car was having trouble with the ignition not turning over to start. You had to jiggle the key just right and twist and turn it to make it work. I had pulled the steering console apart and attempted to see what happening with no luck. After finding out a new ignition cylinder for the car would cost me $200-300 I decided to stop by Apex and get their opinion. When I arrived they were busy but got to me within 10 minutes or so. The tech checked my car and within 2 minutes told me I simply needed to get a new key, due to mine being worn out. They told me to go to the Chevy dealer and give my registration and vin and they would cut me a new key which I did. It fixed the problem and only cost me $15.00. The best part was that due to their ability to diagnose the problem quickly Apex didn't charge me to look at my car. That is what customer serivce is all about and I will surely bring my car back to Apex for future maintenance needs!

I brought my Explorer into Apex to get the muffler exchanged. It was busy there, and i had my 80lb dog with me. They had me in and out in under an hour. I recommend anyone to go to Apex, they are fantastic!

I took my 97 vw jetta in to have a freeze plug replaced, not only did they replace the freeze plug they also found out where a vacume leak was coming from. I also knew prior to taking my car there something was seriously wrong because my car had been over reving. I had thought it was my transmission because I had taken my car to amco and they told me it was caused by a leak I had in my transmission and it needed to be pulled and resealed and it would cost a minimum of 700.00. Apex found that it was my clutch that was the problem and they took the time to explain to me what was happening so I could understand it. When they were replacing my clutch and had the transmission out they inspected my transmision and to my surprise there was no leaks and nothing wrong with my transmision. My car runs fantastic now and I couldn't be a happier customer. I have never recieved such amazing customer service from an auto place that I have take my car to then I did at Apex. I am very greatfull that Apex is here. They now have a life long customer and I would recommend anyone I know family and friends to go to Apex. They'll take care of you or sure without any hassel. The employees are very professional, knowledgable and actually know what they are talking about. Keep up the good work Apex Brake & Muffler.

I have a 96 Ford Explorer and Something went wrong i was off-road and i went through a big puddle but was much deeper than i thought and my car died i had to get it towed home. I was sure that i would need a new car. I called and told a couple shops my story and they said it was DONE. I called apex and they told me they could fix it. I had them come pick it up and to my suprise it was running at the end of the day. they had told me that the engine was full of water and after being drained it was definatly not DONE. APEX BRAKE AND MUFFLER I sincerly thank you for all you have done.

On Saturday afternoon my car started running rough and the check engine symbol on the dash came on. The nearest shop was Apex so I pulled in. The service bays were all full, the place was packed. I talked to the service person behind the counter and explained I had to get to Tacoma by 5:00 for an important appointment. No sooner than I signed my name on a service order, my car was pulled in back of the shop and a tech immediately started to scan the computer and diagnose the problem. The car was having problems with it's emission control system. The technician somehow cleaned the sensor and told me he didn't think I would need to replace it. I was in and out in less than an hour. The car runs great and I made it to my appointment in Tacoma. This shop is an honest to goodness repair shop where the techs actually know how to repair a car rather than just remove and replace the parts like so many other shops. I told them how grateful I was and they now have a new regular customer.

I think apex is the best shop in town. Always busy but they will still service your car in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place.
